Privacy Notice
How E3 Fiber Connect collects, uses and protects your personal data under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).
Effective September 24, 2026
This site is designed to comply with the Data Privacy Act of 2012, its Implementing Rules and Regulations and the issuances of the National Privacy Commission (NPC). We process personal data only for the purposes declared below, only as much as those purposes need, and openly — the principles of transparency, legitimate purpose and proportionality (Section 11).
1. Who we are
E3 Fiber Connect, a fiber internet provider in Santa Maria, Bulacan, is the personal information controller for the personal data described in this notice. Our Data Protection Officer (DPO) answers every privacy question and request:
- e3fiberconnect@gmail.com — subject “Data Privacy”
- 0921 821 5399
- Our office in Santa Maria, Bulacan
2. What we collect and why
We collect only what each service needs. We do not use your data for marketing without asking you separately, and we never sell it.
| Where you give it | Personal data | Why we use it | Lawful basis (RA 10173) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Application — online or at our office | Full name, e-mail, mobile number, birth date, complete address, barangay and landmark; the type, number and photo of a government-issued ID | To check coverage, review the application, schedule the installation and create your subscriber account | Your consent (Sec. 12(a)). A government-issued ID is sensitive personal information and is processed only with your consent (Sec. 13(a)). |
| Your subscriber account | Account number, plan, modem serial number, connection date, bills and payment history | To provide the service, bill you and keep receipts | Our service contract with you (Sec. 12(b)); legal duties such as keeping billing records (Sec. 12(c)) |
| Pay Bills | Account number and the mobile number on the account (to confirm it’s you), payment method, reference number and amount | To verify your payment and mark your bill paid | Our service contract (Sec. 12(b)) |
| Support messages | Name, mobile number, optional e-mail and account number, and your message | To answer and fix your concern | Our service contract (Sec. 12(b)); our legitimate interest in helping customers (Sec. 12(f)) |
| Staff accounts and access requests | Name, work e-mail, mobile number, role, password (stored only as a salted hash) and a log of actions | To control who may see customer data and to trace every change to a person | Employment (Sec. 12(b)); our legitimate interest in keeping records secure (Sec. 12(f)) |
Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
3. How we protect it
We use organizational, physical and technical security measures (Sec. 20):
- Only signed-in staff can open customer records, and what each person can do depends on their role (Owner, Admin or Support).
- Every staff action is written to an activity log, so each change can be traced to the person who made it.
- Password and account changes need two-step verification: a 6-digit code from Google Authenticator on the staff member’s phone.
- Passwords are never stored as typed — only as salted hashes — and repeated wrong passwords pause sign-in.
- Staff must keep personal data confidential, even after they leave E3 Fiber Connect (Sec. 20(e)).
- Our messages never reveal whether someone else’s account, e-mail or reference number exists.
- This site uses no cookies, trackers or advertising scripts.
4. Who we share it with
We don’t sell or rent personal data. We share it only when needed: with the payment channel you choose (GCash, Maya, your bank or a payment center), which handles your payment under its own privacy policy; with our own technicians for your installation; or when a law, a court or a government agency requires it.
5. How long we keep it
We keep personal data only as long as the purposes above need it: while you are our subscriber, and afterwards only for as long as the law requires for billing and tax records. Rejected applications are kept only as long as needed to answer questions about them, and are not used for anything else. Our policy is to securely delete or anonymize records once they are no longer needed.
6. Your rights as a data subject
Under Sections 16 to 18 of the Data Privacy Act, you have the right:
To be informed
Know what we collect, why and how — this notice.
To access
Get a copy of your personal data and how it is used.
To object
Refuse or withdraw consent to processing, such as marketing.
To erasure or blocking
Have data deleted or blocked when it is outdated, unlawful or no longer needed.
To rectification
Have wrong or incomplete data corrected.
To data portability
Receive your data in a common electronic format.
To damages
Be compensated for harm caused by inaccurate or unlawfully used data.
To file a complaint
Complain to the National Privacy Commission.
Your lawful heirs and assigns may use these rights on your behalf (Sec. 17).
7. How to use your rights
Contact our Data Protection Officer (section 1) and tell us which right you want to use. We may first ask you to prove your identity, so that we never give your data to the wrong person. If you withdraw your consent, processing already done stays lawful, but we may no longer be able to provide the service. If you believe we mishandled your data, you may also file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission.
8. If something goes wrong
If a personal data breach may put you at real risk, we will notify the National Privacy Commission and you within 72 hours of learning about it, as NPC Circular No. 16-03 requires, and tell you what we are doing about it.
9. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice. The date at the top shows the current version, and important changes will be announced on this site.
